Licensed Testing Psychologist #PSY26000
Dr. Nina Petit de Mange
Many people (especially women and girls) are missed in diagnosis because they don't look like the "typical" autistic person. This can lead to a lifetime of invalidation, frustration, loneliness, guilt, and burnout. Confusion about who you are, where you belong, and why some things just seem "easier" for everyone else.Getting diagnosed can be incredibly validating. Learning about yourself, embracing all of who you are, giving yourself grace, giving yourself permission to drop the mask. Diagnosis can help you develop better ways to care for yourself. It can give you the answers you've been looking for.I specialize in Autism evaluations that are neurodivergent-affirming and person-centered. I do this by using standardized tools for testing, in combination with in-depth interviews (and observations for children). I'm here to listen first, and diagnose only after I understand.Outside of my clinical practice, I enjoy goofing around with my beautiful boys, taking walks by myself, reading mysteries, and creating my own versions of popular recipes.Education and Experience:
Doctorate in Clinical Psychology - 2012
Teaching Assistant for Graduate Testing Courses - 2008-2011
